Zelensky Lashes Out At NATO Over Hospital Bombing

The Russian air strike that leveled a maternity hospital and children’s ward in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol on Wednesday could have been prevented if NATO had declared Ukraine’s air space a no-fly zone, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Direct strike of Russian troops at the maternity hospital,” Zelensky writes on his Telegram account. “People, children are under the wreckage. Atrocity! How much longer will the world be an accomplice ignoring terror?" Turning his comments toward NATO officials, Zelensky adds, "Close the sky right now! Stop the killings! You have power but you seem to be losing humanity."

There's been no word yet on the number of casualties resulting from Wednesday's air strike.
