ABC News Crime-Terror Analyst Brad Garrett spoke to Bill about Putin's contempt for the U.S. reached new heights when the Soviet Union collapsed – something he believes the US is responsible for. He believes the U.S., in conjunction with the EU and NATO, have targeted Russia, by inviting former Russian Republics into NATO. His goal is to "re-assemble" parts of the Soviet Union and Ukraine which is currently at the top of his list. The belief is that he will attempt to annex parts of other former Russian republics, forcing the U.S. into a direct conflict with Russia. One of Putin’s biggest tools is misinformation, using it sow discourse during elections and most recently with the build up to what the White House has called a “false flag” to justify an invasion of Ukraine.
