Cleveland SWAT team called in after man tells 911 he shot his wife

Cleveland, OH - At around 5am Wednesday morning, a male called 911 reporting that he had shot his wife at a home at 1327 E. 90th Street. Officers from the Cleveland Police Department arrived on scene and saw an elderly male and two children exiting the home uninjured. 

Members of the SWAT unit responded to the scene and made entry. A female was discovered shot dead inside of the home. A male suspect was discovered with a gunshot wound and was taken by EMS to University Hospital. Members of the Homicide Unit responded to the scene for investigation of a possible murder-attempted suicide. No one else was found to be inside of the home. Cleveland police say the shooting remains under investigation.
