Cleveland, OH - The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating the following incidents that took place on July 21, 2021 and July 22, 2021.
A fatal Overdose at 11641 Miles Ave. A 46yr male victim died from a fatal overdose. Police found evidence on scene.
A fatal Overdose at 3610 E 120 St. A 68yr old male victim died from a fatal overdose. Police found evidence on scene..
A homicide Investigation at 7318 Superior Ave. A 39yr old male was the victim of a fatal assault. On Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at approximately 7:47pm officers responded to 7318 Superior Ave in connection with a fight. Officers arrived on scene and found a 39yr old male on the ground unconscious. Officers provided first aid to the male until EMS arrived. Once EMS arrived, they transported the male to UH where he was pronounced. Members of the Homicide Unit responded for investigation. Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was in a vehicle when two males approached his vehicle, pulled him from the vehicle and began to assault the victim until he was unconscious. The two suspects fled the scene. Two suspects have been arrested. This matter remains under investigation.
A homicide Investigation at E 105 St. and Adams Ave. A 32yr old male suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the stomach. No other information is available at this time.
A shooting at 984 E 144th St. A 13yr old male suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the hand. He was transported to University Hospitals.
A shooting at 140 Public Square. A 20yr old female suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, EMS transported her to MetroHealth.
