Here's How They Pick The Vax-a-Million Winners

(Cleveland) - The Ohio Lottery will use a special computer that determines random numbers to draw the five winners of the Vax-a-Million lottery, which is open to any Ohio adult who has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the Ohio Lottery, each entry was assigned a number, and the computer will be told the total number of entries. From that, it will draw one winner, and alternates, in case it's determined the winner was not eligible.

The first drawing is Monday, but the winner won't be announced until the daily lottery drawing at 7:29 p.m. Wednesday.
