Bond Denied For Brothers In Double Fatal Shooting

(Cleveland) - Bond has been denied for the two brothers accused in the shooting death of two men outside a Parma sports bar over the weekend.

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Juan Perez shot and killed a patron and security guard outside Rookie's Bar and Grill on Pearl Road near Ridge Road. They say his brother, Luis Candelario, drove the getaway car. Perez is charged with two counts of aggravated murder, while Candelario is charged with two counts of complicity to aggravated murder.

The security guard who was killed was a Cuyahoga County Corrections Officer who was working the job to earn extra money. Cuyahoga County's sheriff has temporarily prohibited his deputies and corrections officers from working security jobs at businesses that sell alcohol.
