NFL Draft In Cleveland Two Months Away

(Cleveland) - We are only two months away from the NFL Draft, which will be held iin Cleveland this year. David Gilbert of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission told WTAM that the NFL is working with his organization to make the three-day event a reality.

The Draft, along with the NFL Experience, a fan-friendly series of exhibits, will be in the area of North Coast Harbor,. Events will be centered around FirstEnergy Stadium, but will extend as far east as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and as far west as the Port of Cleveland. Two unused warehouses on the Port property have been torn down, giving them more room for the NFL Experience.

Gilbert says social distancing will be possible for the NFL Experience, and for the draft itself, in part due to the newly-cleared property at the Port.

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission will be doing a marketing campaign in NFL markets within an eight-hour drive of Cleveland, in order to invite fans to come to our city. NFL Experience tickets will be free, but will be timed, to control how many people come at any given time.
