FBI Looking For Unsuccessful Bank Robber

(Beachwood) - You can't blame a guy for trying. The FBI is looking for a man who tried to rob a bank in Beachwood, but got away with nothing.

About 2:15 on Thursday, the FBI says a man walked into People's Bank at 24400 Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood. He went up to a teller, jumped over the teller counter, looked at a teller, opened a red and black bag, and said, "Money." The teller replied, "I can't." The man then tried to open two drawers, but was unsuccessful. The man then hopped back over the counter, and ran out the left side of the bank, with no money.

The man is 5'10", dark skinned Black complexion, with no visible tattoos. He was wearing a black hoodie, black gloves, a dark face mask, blue jeans, and black shoes. He carried a red and black bag

Tips about this man can be given to either Beachwood Police or the Cleveland office of the FBI.
