OSU Fan Diagnosed with Cancer Postpones Surgery Until After Bowl Game

An Ohio State fan diagnosed with brain cancer is reaching out to Buckeye Nation to help her build a medical center in Kenya.

Connie Cox spoke about her goal of building the clinic not long after OSU President Dr. Kristina Johnson and former OSU Quarterback Cardale Jones reached out to promote the cause. Cox has been doing mission work in Kenya for years but was diagnosed with cancer in December and delayed her surgery until after the Sugar Bowl so she could cheer on the buckeyes.
