(Cleveland) - Police are working on the case of a 13-year-old boy who died Monday night on the city's near West Side after he had been shot in the head.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner says the boy was Ja'mari Jones. Jones was sitting in a van in the Ohio City area when he was shot, about 6:40 p.m. Monday. Cleveland Police were called about the shooting while the van was in the parking lot of Kan Zaman Restaurant on West 25th, between Detroit Avenue and Lutheran Hospital. It's believed that Jones was shot on Loop Drive, which goes through Lakeview Terrace, a public housing complex north of the Main Avenue Bridge.
People have been questioned, but no arrests have been made.
