ME Says Boy's Death Was Accidential

(Cleveland) - The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has issued a cause of death for a boy whose body was found in a hotel swimming pool.

According to the ME's office, 8-year-old Christopher Johnson died from drowning, and his death was accidental.

On Monday afternoon, Strongsville Police reported that Christopher was reported missing from the Holiday Inn on Route 82. Multiple agencies helped in the search for Christopher. His body was found a few hours later in the hotel's swimming pool.

The Medical Examiner's office has closed its portion of the case.
