Cleveland Extends, Modifies Downtown Curfew

(Cleveland) - The city of Cleveland has extended, and modified, the curfew that was originally put into effect over the weekend after demonstrations downtown ended up in looting and rioting.

According to the city's proclamation, from Tuesday, June 3, to Friday, June 5, the restricted area will be open for ordinary business activity from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and under curfew restrictions from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The restricted area has not changed, which primarily affects areas within the Innerbelt, and the Market District along West 25th Street. People living in the area will be allowed to travel in and out for necessary purposes.
