Cleveland - Following other companies, like Rite Aid, CVS has announced their own way to help out in the fight against the Coronavirus.
The Drug Store is opening 34 drive-thru COVID-19 testing locations across the state of Ohio, including 15 in Northeast Ohio.
The goal is to test 1.5 million people per month, though testing is not available for everyone. Only those who meet state testing guidelines established by the CDC will be allowed to be tested. Those tests will be self-swab.
Priority One testing will be for healthcare workers who have symptoms. People who are hospitalized with symptoms are also in the Priority One category but would obviously not be able to participate in a drive-thru test.
