Bay Village Police Blotter: Stolen Bikes and Domestic Violence

On May 13th, at 10:47pm Bay Village Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Forestview Road on a domestic dispute. Officers arrived and found that the female homeowner had assaulted her husband and had done damage to their vehicles. Officers eventually force entry into the home and the female was arrested for domestic violence, obstruction and resisting arrest. She is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.

On May 15th, at 8:33am Bay Village Police were dispatched to the area of Vineland and Bruce Roads on report of a theft from auto and a stolen bicycle. When officers began to canvass the area for information, it was discovered that numerous other cars had been entered in the overnight hours. All of these vehicles had left their doors unlocked in their driveways. Officers took seven different reports and were able to speak with numerous individuals who had doorbell cameras showing the thief in action. Bay Village Detectives are investigating.
