CLEVELAND, OH -- Reigning Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic continued his MVP caliber start to the 2019 season. Luka controlled the pace of the basketball game from beginning to end, wether he was setting up teammates for an easy bucket or getting a bucket himself, Doncic could not be slowed down. The second year guard recorded his third triple-double of the season as the Mavericks cruised to a 131-11 victory over the Cavaliers in Cleveland.

Kevin Love and Jordan Clarkson had the hot hand for the Cavs as they went back-and-forth with the pesky Mavs in the first half. The Cleveland duo combined for eight three-pointers as they were lighting the net on fire. The Cavaliers ran their offense through Love every chance they could, as Love finished the game with 29 points and 8 boards. Lack of bench depth continues to haunt the Cavaliers, with Dellavedova missing another game due to personal reasons. Cleveland's bench was outscored by Dallas 48-42. Jordan Clarkson remains Mr. Consistent for the Cavaliers, as he chipped in 17 points from the bench. Cleveland big man Tristan Thompson controlled the paint on Sunday night, recording a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Tonight marked the Cavaliers first home loss of the season, and they will look to bounce back on their home floor on Tuesday night. The Boston Celtics will head to The Land to take on the Cavaliers on Tuesday evening. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm ET at The Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland, Ohio.
