Donations Being Accepted For Brunswick Hills Family Who Lost House, Dogs

Willoughby - DeJohn Pet Services is opening its doors for community donations to the Brunswick Hills family who recently lost their home and two dogs in a fire.

DeJohn Pet Services donated their service to privately cremate the family dogs, Brody and Chase. Squad 51 donated their service to transport the dogs to DeJohn’s for cremation. Cedar Valley Box Company kindly donated a large urn for the dog’s cremated remains.

"As pet parents we understand the emotions of losing a pet. The Tague family lost their home and all their belongings but most tragically they lost their beloved dogs, Brody and Chase. DeJohn Pet Services will act as the Eastside location for donations to the family until October 18. Donations can also be dropped off during our annual Pet Blessing this Sunday, at 2PM. It’s so nice to see the community come together and support a family in need,” said Ross DeJohn III, President & COO of DeJohn Funeral Homes.

Donations of gift cards are welcome as well as clothing for the family. Adult male fall/winter pants waist 36 and inseam 32, shirt size XL and shoe size 12; ladies casual business clothing size 10, shirts medium or large and shoes size 9; children’s boy clothing sizes 3T-4T shoe, size 9-10 and boys clothing size 2T, shoe size 5 and diapers size 5/6.

For any questions regarding donations, please contact Sherri at DeJohn Pet Services at 216-658-9010, located at 28890 Chardon Rd in Willoughby.
