Woman Admits To Driving Around School Bus, Injuring Two Children

Willowick police say the 18-year-old woman accused in a hit-skip, Monday afternoon, has admitted to driving around a stopped school bus injuring two elementary school children, and fleeing the scene.

Saying she was sorry and appearing to be scared, the woman told police she was "in a hurry" on her way from school to work as a valet at the Cleveland Clinic and "panicked" after she hit the kids.

Both students ,7-year-old boys, were hospitalized, but Willowick Police Chief Brian Turner says they did not suffer serious injuries. One even went back to school today.

The driver will be back in court on May 30th.
