(Cleveland) - Funeral Services have been announced for longtime Beachwood High School math instructor Arthur Gugick and his girlfriend, Barbara Becker of Shaker Heights
The visitation for both Becker and Gulick will take place at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel in Cleveland Heights on Wednesday, with the Guglick visitation beginning at 11am, and the Becker visitation following at 230pm.
The two were killed over the weekend when an Uber car in which they were riding was hit by another car, which had run through a red light.The driver of the Uber car was treated and released from an area hospital. The driver of the second car, Sanford Doss, will make his first court appearance Wednesday. He is charged with murder.
Ms. Becker was a Realtor with the Howard Hanna Group in Cleveland.
A longtime fixture at Beachwood High School, the school will hold it's own memorial for Gugick, gathering at the school in the hours prior to the visitation.
