Stevie Nicks: An American singer and songwriter whose career has spanned more than 50 years, Nicks gained equal stardom as a member of Fleetwood Mac.As a solo act, she produced eight albums including “Bella Donna” which reached multiplatinum status and had hit such as “Leather and Lace” and “Stop Draggin My Heart Around”.
Nicks has said that her vocal and performance style evolved from female singers like Grace Slick and Janis Joplin.Her voice has been described as a “gruff, feathery alto” and her style went to influence some of today’s stars including Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.She continues to tour with Fleetwood Mac and on her own.
