Cleveland - With shopping, there are bound to be some complaints. The Better Business Bureau of Greater Cleveland has released their list of most complaints filed against area businesses in 2018.
In 2018, the BBB says there were 7,602 complaints filed by dissatisfied customers in Northeast Ohio. Of those complaints, about half provided the dollar value which totaled $24 million for the year. That number more than doubled the dollar amount that was recorded in 2017 which was $11 million.
The full list of Top 10 Businesses most complained about is as follows:
1. Online purchases
2. Auto dealers (new & used vehicles)
3. Banks
4. Phone/cell services and products
5. Remodeling Services
6. Furniture Stores
7. Landscaping Services
8. Department Stores
9. Property Management
10. Auto Repair
The biggest riser in 2018 was Online purchases, which finished at the top. In 2017, it held the number five spot.
