Meyer Leaves On Top, Delivers Final Post-Game Speech

Columbus - 83 wins, a national championship, a rose bowl win and a final locker room speech given by now former Ohio State Football Head Coach Urban Meyer following the teams 28-23 win over Washington New Year's Day at the Rose Bowl.

Meyer finishes his coaching career at Ohio State with a 83-9 record, including a spotless 7-0 record versus rival Michigan.

It is believed Meyer, who is 54, is stepping down due to health concerns involving a cyst on his brain.

Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day has officially taken over the team moving forward. Meyer is expected to serve as an assistant athletic director now after his retirement from coaching.
