Cleveland Clinic Employee Fired After Social Media Posts

Cleveland - Anti-Semitic comments on her social media has led to a former Cleveland Clinic supervised resident to be fired.

Lara Kollab, who worked at the clinic from July to September of 2018, reportedly has posts dating back to 2011 in which she called those of Jewish descent "dogs" and threatened to give them the wrong medicine while treating them.  

In a brief statement, the Cleveland Clinic said “In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system.”

Kollab’s medical license was issued by the state in July of 2018, and remains activeuntil June 2021, according to state records.
