(CLEVELAND) Football legend Eddie George won a Heisman Trophy on the football field; now, perhaps, he'll win a Tony on the stage.

The Ohio State Buckeye football legend stars in "Chicago," a musical which runs at the Connor Palace  through Sunday, December 2nd.

"When you're on stage, all the lights are on you and it's like being the Super Bowl," the 45-year-old George says about the similarities between between acting and his former career. "It's a team element where you have to rely on the other actors and they rely on you."

George played in the NFL until 2004, eight seasons with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans and one with the Dallas Cowboys. He won the Heisman in 1995 with Ohio State.

"Chicago" performances are Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets range from $35 to $80 and are available at the box office, at playhousesquare.org, or by calling 216-241-6000.
