(Medina) - A 54 year old man is in the county jail, suspected of sexually assaulting a child.
Medina Police arrested Allen Royal of Fairfax Drive, charging him with the rape of juvenile under the age of 13. T
They made the arrest, after Medina Police detectives, and investigators from the Medina Child Advocacy Center interviewed the victim.
During a search of Royal's home, detectives say they found "a large volume of digital images and videos, depicting sexually oriented matter involving juveniles". Assisting in the search were agents from the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
A grand jury has indicted Royal for Rape, Gross Sexual Imposition, and Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor. Investigators say additional charges are possible.
