Lorain Schools Have Lockdown Scare

(Lorain, OH) - Several schools in Lorain were temporarily put in their lockdown protocol Wednesday afternoon, after several shots were fired outside the schools, at the intersection of 24th street and Ashland. Those schools, Lorain High School, Frank Jacinto Elementary, General Johnnie Wilson Elementary and Washington Elementary are all situated within a mile of one another. A teenager who was not a student at any of the schools in question was arrested at the scene, and another suspect was being pursued. A gun was also recovered at the scene.
