Bay Village Police Blotter: September 17th

On 09/10/18 at 12:47am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Lake Road at Porter Creek Road for a moving violation. The operator, a 34-year-old Olmsted Falls resident, appeared to be driving impaired. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Once on station, the male consented to take a breath test which showed a .156 blood alcohol content. He is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.

On 09/12/2018, at 1:58 am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Bradley Road at Lake Road for multiple moving violations. The operator, a 49 year old Bay Village resident, appeared to be driving impaired. The female operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. The operator refused a breath test. She is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.   

On 09/13/18 at 7:46 am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Eaton Way at Columbia Road for a moving violation. After speaking with the female operator, a 30 year old Bay Village resident, a WLPD K-9 Unit arrived on scene. The dog alerted on the vehicle and drugs were found inside the vehicle. The operator and another passenger were arrested drug possession. Both are facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.  

On 09/15/2018, at 1:10 am, Bay Village Police conducted a traffic stop at Lake Road and Porter Creek Road. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The two occupants, both 18 year old Brooklyn residents, are facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
