Choking Infant Saved By Shaker Hts Officers

CLEVELAND - Two month old Tyra Pruitte is alive and well thanks to a pair of Shaker Heights police officers.

A Facebook video, posted by the city's police department, shows Officers Alex Oklander and Ryan Sidders were helping with a disabled car driven by Tyra's mother Tamica, when they realized the infant was choking and needed help.

Reacting quickly, the two took turns holding Tyra while patting her back and trying to clear her airway.

Trya began breathing, and she soon back in her grateful mothers arms.
