Cavs Pull Away Late: Win At Home Against The Bucks

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers welcome back Kevin Love tonight at Quicken Loans Arena. Kevin was under a minute restriction for his return and some thought he could be rusty. What does Love go out and do? H just play 25 minutes, go 4 for 9 from behind the arch, 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The duo of Kevin Love and LeBron James tonight was just much for the Milwaukee Bucks to handle as the Cavs pull away late at home. LeBron James had his 3rd Triple-Double in 4 games and his 16th Triple-Double of the season. James played 40 minutes, scored 40 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Cavs got a lot of contribution from their role players tonight. Kyle Korver was in the starting line up again tonight. Korver played 28 minutes, went 3 for 6 from behind the 3-point line, scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Coming off the bench, Jordan Clarkson played 28 minutes, and scored 15 of his 17 points in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Ante Zizic continues to grow and gain confidence with every game and every possession. Zizic is a nice addition of a much needed big man for the Cavs. Ante had 13 points and 6 rebounds in 17 minutes of action.

In other news coming out of Cleveland today, was Head Coach Ty Lue steeping away for health reasons. He is expected to be back sooner than later, but his health has to come first. Assistant Coach Larry Drew will be taking over the Head Coaching duties for the time being.

The Milwaukee Bucks came to quicken Loans Arena ready to play. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks, playing 39 minutes, 37 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Khris Middleton contributed 38 minutes, 30 points going 5 for 9 from the 3-point line, and 5 rebounds. The Bucks drop to 37-33 on the season.
