GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Wednesday morning the Indians made it official: Mike Napoli is back. For how long though, is still unclear.
Napoli, 36, signed a Minor League contract which includes an invite to big league spring training camp with the Tribe. While manager Terry Francona and even Napoli have admitted he likely will not remain with the Indians once the 2018 season begins, it's a unique opportunity for the veteran slugger to prepare himself while also helping some of the younger players in camp with Cleveland.
