Indians announce lineup, pitching plans for Friday

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- On Friday afternoon at 3:05 pm ET it all gets started. Albeit, the Cactus League exhibition schedule, but nevertheless live baseball action between the Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds at Goodyear Ballpark.

The Tribe's first spring training game can be heard on Newsradio WTAM 1100 with Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus.

On Thursday the Tribe announced their starting lineup against the Reds: 

Mike Clevinger will start for the Indians in the first spring training game. Clevinger is expected to only pitch one inning and he will be followed after his outing by left-hander Ryan Merritt.

The Indians play again Saturday afternoon against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. Lefty Shawn Marimando will start the second spring training game for Cleveland.
