Cleveland - Cleveland police have identified the 12-year-old boy killed Friday evening in a shooting on Cleveland's East Side.
Abdel Latif Bashiti was shot in the torso when he stepped outside the liquor store owned by his father near East 117th and Buckeye.
Police say five teen boys between the ages of 14 and 16 were wounded in the shooting around 7:30PM Friday, including a 16-year-old hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman says the teens were standing outside the store when a group of three to four males opened fire.
Police Chief Calvin Williams says it's believed the shooters also are juveniles.
Cleveland Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers or the Cleveland Police homicide unit.
