St. Augustine Church prepares to feed thousands

Thanksgiving meal

(Cuyahoga County) - It's a long-time Cleveland holiday tradition, free Thanksgiving meals provided by St. Augustine Church on the Cleveland's near west side..

Sister Corita Ambro says they are planning to serve 19,000 meals, and so far they have enough food and volunteers, but they need drivers to help deliver 10,000 meals to shut-ins.

Contact St. Augustine's if you can help. Drivers are to meet at Baron's Bus Company at Brookpark and Tiedeman Roads from 9am-to-10am on Thanksgiving Day.

Drivers will be taking meals to shut-ins not only in Cuyahoga, Lake, and Geauga counties, but parts of Lorain and Summit counties as well.
