(Lake County) - Painesville Police were dispatched to investigate a welfare check at a West Jackson Street apartment on Sunday afternoon.
Investigators report, officers were checking on the welfare of the resident 29-year old Matthew Jacquemain, his girlfriend 25-year old Sarah Poorman, and their 3 month old child.
After officers gained entry into the locked apartment,they discovered both Matthew Jacquemain and Sarah Poorman were both deceased.
Their 3 month old child was found to be alive and healthy. The child was later released to her paternal grandmother.
The deaths do appear to be drug related at this time. The cause of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office.
