Thousands Hit Local Venues To Take In The Eclipse

(Cleveland) - Edgewater Park set the stage Monday for a massive eclipse viewing party.  Thousands of people converged on the park to take in the eclipse which began at 1:06pm and hit its' peak in Greater Cleveland around 2:30.  People with large telescopes showed up to take in the event.  This was the first solar eclipse to take place in the U.S. from coast to coast in 99 years.  The next eclipse is scheduled to take place in 2024.
