Festival Ride In North Ridgeville Injures 2 Kids

NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Two children suffered minor injuries when a ride at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival malfunctioned.

Police say, the incident occurred on a kiddie-ride that made a sudden stop when a car came off the track. 

The state's Department of Agriculture's Division of Ride Safety will investigate and the ride has been closed for the remainder of the weekend, as a safety precaution.

Last nights incident comes a little more than 2 weeks after a malfunction on the "Fire Ball" ride killed 18-year-old Tyler Jarrell and injured several others at the Ohio State Fair.
