Paul Sciria passes away at 88

Cleveland - Paul Sciria,a man who was a fixture in Cleveland media for 60 years, has died at the age of 88.

According to a report on the WKYC website, Sciria began his career at WTAM radio back in the 1950s, and later joined WKYC as their first full-time reporter in 1957.

As a Channel 3 reporter, Sciria interviewed the Beatles, Presidents Nixon and Jimmy Carter.

In 1975, Sciria left broadcasting to start his own public relations and advertising agency. 

He was inducted into the Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame and the Cleveland International Hall of Fame.
