Violent Sunday Morning for Cleveland Police

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police had a busy Sunday, long before sunrise.

Shortly before 1 a.m., officers were called to St. Vincent Charity Hospital for a male victim that had been shot in the leg.

Then, at 2:19 a.m., they responded to a shooting reported near the intersection of East 185th and St. Clair Avenue, where a 25-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was originally taken to Euclid Hospital before being transported downtown by helicopter.

Officers were then called to East 125th Street and Kinsman Road where, they say, a 43-year-old was shot in the elbow around 4:29 a.m.

Around that same time, in the 2900 block of East 116th Street, a 26-year-old male was transported to the hospital after being shot in the thigh.
