This week’s Featured Furry Friend is a special cat named Whitney.  Whitney is 10 years old, and unfortunately came to the APL as part of a Humane Investigation case.  She was not well cared for and as a result lost quite a few teeth and almost all her vision.  One of her eyes had to be removed and the one that is left has a lot of scarring on the cornea.  She is also extremely fearful.  Whitney is looking for a quiet home where she can live out a very different second half of her life.  Her new family needs to be very patient with her, give her plenty of time and space to start to feel safe, and then shower her with love!  To learn more about Whitney, call the APL at 216-771-4616 or log on to Cleveland APL.org.  Check back next week for another Featured Furry Friend from the Cleveland APL!
