Vigil for couple murdered at car dealership

Cleveland - Dozens of people gathered outside the Mr.Cars dealership on East 185th Street Friday evening for a vigil to remember a husband and wife gunned down there one week ago.

Michael and Trina Kuznick were found shot to death on Good Friday, along with  the family dog.

Their 19-year-old son, unable to reach them, found his parents around 10:00PM.

So far there have been no arrests.

Cleveland police say two cars were stolen from the lot in the course of the killings.

They recovered one vehicle, a BMW, on West 48th Street, but the man they arrested was wanted on unrelated warrants and is not believed to be involved in the killings.

Another car, a blue Mercedes-Benz four-door sedan, shown in the picture associated with this story, is still missing.

Residents are horrified at the violent murders, saying the couple were well-established in the community.

The dealership was originally owned by Mr. Kuznick's parents and had been on East 185th Street at Hiller since 1977.

Councilman Michael Polensek is outraged over the killings, saying he believes this was not a random act of violence.

The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office is offering a $7500.00 reward for information leading to an arrest and successful prosecution.

Meanwhile, Cleveland police homicide detectives have asked the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner to perform DNA swabs on the dog that was killed, in case the animal might have bitten one of the suspects.

The Kuzniks leave behind three children.
