(Avon Lake, OH) -- Avon Lake police are investigating whether a pair of weekend burglaries are related. Officers were first called to Schiller Court, where a resident reported a man dressed in dark clothing smashed his way into her house before running away. Police say a similar break-in was reported a mile away on Bounty Way, where jewelry was taken from the home.
