Police search for bank robber's getaway car

(Cuyahoga County) - On March 23, 2017,  at approx. 11:51 a.m,  the Cardinal Community Credit Union located at 754 Richmond Road, Richmond Heights was robbed.  

Three black males entered the bank armed with semi-automatic style handguns.  Two of the unknown subjects proceeded to the teller counter upon entering the bank.  

The third unknown subject corralled all bank employees from their offices to the lobby area and ordered them to their knees.  

One of the unknown suspects made a verbal demand for money to a victim teller while pointing a handgun at him/her.   

Another unknown suspect hopped over the teller counter and stopped an employee who had tried to sneak out the back door and forced him/her back to the teller station area at gun point.  

Money was placed into a drawstring bag.  The three unknown suspects fled the bank with the drawstring bag.    

The three unknown suspects were observed entering two separate getaway vehicles.  Witnesses described the vehicles as a silver Dodge and a red Hyundai. 

No physical injuries were reported.  Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI or the Richmond Heights Police Department.  

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible.
