Armed robbers strike two banks

(Cuyahoga County) - The Fifth Third in Lyndhurst was robbed today.An unknown black male entered the bank with a long gun brandished.  

The unknown subject directly pointed the weapon he was holding at the tellers. 

The tellers complied with his demand for money. No physical injuries were reported. 

The unknown subject is estimated to be in his late teens or early twenties. 

It is believed the unknown subject fled the bank and entered a red sedan, silver trim down at the bottom of doors near pavement, described as a red Nissan Altima.  

A driver was observed but no description available. Tips can be provided to Cleveland Division of the FBI, Lyndhurst PD or Crimestoppers. 

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible.  Tips can remain anonymous. 

Also today, at approximately 12pm, an unidentified male entered the PNC bank, 5188 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio and presented a demand note indicating a bank robbery . 

The teller complied with the demand and the unidentified male was given an undisclosed amount of money.  No physical injuries were reported. T

he unknown male fled on foot, no direction or additional mode of travel was observed. The unknown male is described as a black male, mid 30s, approximately 6'0",  with a thin build, he was wearing dark clothing, and glasses.
