(Washington) - The US Supreme Court has set a conference date to consider whether the court should hear Jimmy Dimora's appeal of his bribery conviction. A federal appeals court recently ruled that trial judge Sara Lio should have allowed Dimora's state ethics disclosure forms to be admitted in his original trial, but the Appeals Court said they likely would have done Dimora's case more harm than good.
The conference is scheduled for for September 29th, the court announces on the first Monday in October each year what cases it has decided to hear.
