(Cleveland) - The Nancy Pelosi bus tour arrived in Cleveland today, with the House Minority leader promoting issues of interest to women, like pay equity, affordable child care, and increased funding for education.

Pelosi claims these are issues many Republicans support, but claims the GOP leadership won't let them come up for vote.

Pelosi says Democrats need to win 17 new seats in the House to end the deadlock.

About 100 supporters welcomed Pelosi to the SEIU Local 1199 headquarters on East 30th Street downtown, On hand were local congresspersons Marcia Fudge and Marcy Kaptur.
