(Middleburgh Heights)- The FBI is asking for the public's help in finding an armed bank robber.
Police say he entered a 5/3 Bank located at 19053 Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights around 9:30AM Saturday, brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun.
FBI spokesman Vickie Anderson says "The unknown white male's neck was not covered in a black substance and white skin could be observed."
No one was hurt, but the gunman robbed two bank tellers before fleeing.
The FBI issued the following description in a news release:
"The suspect is described as a white male, approximately5'5"-5'6" tall, thin build, approximately 30-35years of age, he was wearing a black knit hat, black sunglasses, what appeared to be black shoe polish on his face, gloves, a green long sleeve plaid shirt, brandished a black semi-automatic gun. He was carrying a white plastic bag.
The suspect was believed to be observed in a black Chevy Cobalt vehicle heading toward I-71 on Bagley Rd.
Tips can be provided anonymously to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Middleburg Heights Police Department at 440-243-1234."
The FBI says reward money is available for the successful arrest and prosecution of the robber.
