(Youngstown) - Jimmy Dimora has filed lawsuits against the Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Corrections Corporation of America.
The imprisoned former Cuyahoga County Commissioner says he slipped and fell at the privately owned Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown in May, 2012.
Dimora says he slipped in a puddle of water. Dimora cites negligence and emotional distress in the separate lawsuits.
He is currently housed in a federal facility in California where he's serving 28 years for corruption.
