(North Olmsted) – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a robber who held up the Huntington Bank located at 29095 Lorain Road in North Olmsted.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 6’-6’2”, thin build, unshaven facial hair, approximately in his late 30’s to early 40’s in age, wearing a black hoodie, a black winter hat with ear flaps and drawstring ties, blue jeans and white latex gloves.

Investigators say subject put on sunglasses after he entered the bank and during the commission of the robbery.

The thief displayed a black semi-automatic handgun while stating “this is a robbery”.

Police say the crook demanded 100s, 50s and 20s, he commanded the tellers to back up with their arms up, and not to push any buttons.

He fled on foot. No direction of travel was observed. No physical injuries were reported.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible for this robbery.
