(Cleveland) - Join the Earth Day Coalition for our 28th Annual EarthFest at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, on Saturday, April 22 from 10am-7pm.
Activities and exhibits will go until 5pm and Party with the Planet live music, food trucks and beverages will continue until 7pm.
Families will enjoy all day entertainment with over 270 exhibits in nine sustainability exhibit areas, eco-activities throughout our Walk for the Earth passport tour, a “pop-up streetscape” with interactive tree canopy, free tree giveaways, Midwest Evolve electric vehicle ride-and-drives, biodiesel-powered amusement park rides, urban farm animals, sheep dog herding demos, pony rides, healthy food from local food trucks, Great Lakes beer, Barefoot Wine, NASA, Lake Erie Nature & Science Center, and much more!
It's all presented and organized by Earth Day Coalition since 1990, EarthFest is Ohio’s largest environmental education event and the longest running Earth Day celebration in the nation.
This year, the event is in partnership with Mayor Frank Jackson’s Sustainable Cleveland 2019 initiative, Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, Midwest Evolve and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, as EarthFest will celebrate the “Year of Vibrant Green Space”.
Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for kids, and those 2 years and younger get in free.
However, there's also free admission if you dress like a tree, ride your bike or take the RTA to the event, or bring your teaching certificate!
